Hybrid Host Family Coordinator at Norwich Free Academy

Norwich Free Academy (NFA) is seeking a Host Family Coordinator to manage the placement of students with local host families. This part-time, stipend-based position ($18,000 annually) works closely with admissions staff, students, and community members to ensure safe and supportive housing arrangements. Ideal candidates are highly organized, have strong interpersonal skills, and are comfortable working with diverse populations. Prior experience in student services, housing coordination, or community outreach is preferred. Occasional evening and weekend availability required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in housing coordination, student services, or community outreach preferred.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and database systems.
• Knowledge of residential placement programs or similar initiatives.
• Experience in an educational or nonprofit setting.
