SUMMARY:
The Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for performing assigned department tasks, including, but not limited to, the various activities required to prepare field staff to be credentialed successfully such as: background, drug and medical screening coordination, requirements mapping, expirations and other operations support functions.
RESPONSBILITY:
- Complete tasks based on assigned function (e.g., requirements, background, audits, etc).
- Build expert, knowledge of credentialing and compliance requirements to include, but not limited to, the various activities required to prepare the healthcare providers credentialed compliance file successful.
- Respond quickly, professionally, and accurately to internal and external inquiries.
- Conduct research with available resources to satisfy inquiries.
- Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets.
- Document status updates and ongoing communication in designated operations/database.
- Collect and affirm quality of credentials and compliance requirements meet client, organization, and Joint Commission standards.
- Works within the Credentialing department to effectively and efficiently relay necessary information to cross functional teams including those of a sales and support nature.
- Must have ability to support business projects such as job action events (strikes) on weekends, and after hours as needed.
- Works across all companies: Fastaff, USN, Trustaff, and other brands as needed
- May require travel.
- Performs additional duties as requested by management.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of office experience
- Prior experience in credentialing
- Prior experience in a healthcare, staffing, or human resources environment
- Prior work experience in a customer service industry
- Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office products
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must have use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through use of the telephone and face to face contact
- Must have the capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment such as but not limited to the computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing
