Employee Onboarding & Development Specialist

We are seeking a Employee Onboarding & Development Specialist to lead the execution of our firm’s employee  onboarding and development initiatives. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is committed to building relationships, fostering employee growth, and delivering results through strong program management.

Who We Want:

Employee Onboarding & Integration

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for new employees, providing guidance and a consistent experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a smooth, engaging, and continuously improving onboarding process.

Performance Management & Development

  • Manage the firm’s annual performance review processes, including communications, training, timelines, feedback distribution, and platform management.
  • Ensure timely, consistent, and fair evaluation practices across all departments.
  • Develop and maintain development plans for employees.

Program Oversight and Execution

  • Manage day-to-day planning and execution of the Summer Associate Program, including onboarding, event planning, and performance reviews.
  • Oversee the firm’s internal learning programs including KJ Academy, Mentor Programs, Intern Programs, etc.
  • Oversee assessments and feedback tools.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Serve as an engaging communicator who builds rapport with employees at all levels, maintaining open, responsive, and professional communications.
  • Collaborate closely with Department Chairs, the Recruiting Committee, and HR team members to ensure alignment and excellence in delivery.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  •  1-5 years of experience in employee onboarding, learning and development, or related fields.
  • Strong project and program management skills with attention to detail and timely execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
