We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to support cinema clients by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Barco digital cinema projectors and related AV equipment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure optimal performance of projection systems and a seamless cinematic experience for audiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Commissioning:
- Set up and calibrate Barco cinema projectors, servers, and associated AV systems.
- Ensure proper alignment, brightness, and color accuracy according to industry standards.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Replace components such as lamps, filters, and boards as needed.

Customer Support:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to cinema operators.
- Train clients on basic operation and maintenance of Barco systems.
- Document service visits and maintain accurate records.

Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with internal teams and Barco technical support.
- Report recurring issues and suggest improvements to service processes.
- Stay updated on firmware/software updates and new product releases.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, AV Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in field service or technical support, preferably in the cinema or AV industry.
- Hands-on experience with Barco projectors or similar digital cinema equipment.
- Strong understanding of video signal flow, networking, and projection technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings.
Preferred Skills:
- Barco Certified Technician (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Experience with Dolby, Doremi, or GDC servers.
- Familiarity with cinema automation systems and audio calibration.
