About this Position

A Contract Administrator is a professional responsible for assisting with the risk mitigation, negotiation, and management of contracts within an organization. Their primary role is to support the sales and dispatch teams in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing various types of contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and mitigate risks.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for interpreting, reviewing, negotiating, various contracts presented to the enterprise. 
  • Ensure quick turnaround of incoming contract requests – all while ensuring that the quality of work is not deteriorated. 
  • prioritize various contract file reviews, at all stages of the review process, to ensure that the organization is not opened up to unnecessary liability, and maintains regulatory compliance. 
  • Work with both internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Process insurance requests on an as needed basis for all brands within the organization
  • Port registrations for drivers where needed   

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or a combination of school/work experience
  • Paralegal Certificate a plus, not required
  • Trucking/ Transportation industry experience (preferred) 
  • Must be able to handle various tasks at one time, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Time management, professional communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with a team at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with the following:
  • Multi line phone system
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Calendaring
  • eDocument Management (IE – Docusign)
  • Preparation
  • Adjustment
  • Filing
  • Attention to detail
