Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is responsible for full-cycle recruiting across all areas of the business, including Support Center functions (Technology, Creative, Marketing, Merchandising, Store Support, Finance, Accounting, etc.), Store Leadership, Outside Sales, and additional roles as needed. This position partners closely with hiring managers and business leaders to source, attract, and hire top talent in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. The ideal candidate is a strong networker with a visible LinkedIn presence, a passion for recruitment marketing, and a commitment to building meaningful candidate and community relationships. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for roles across the Support Center, Stores, and Field, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, coaching and guiding them through best practices for recruitment and selection. 
  • Actively engage with professional networks, community organizations, and universities to expand the company’s talent pipeline. 
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies, leveraging LinkedIn, SeekOut, Indeed, social media platforms, and other digital tools to attract both active and passive talent. 
  • Maintain an active and professional presence on LinkedIn to showcase company culture, share job postings, and engage with potential candidates. 
  • Collaborate with internal partners and employer branding partners to develop recruitment content that supports the company’s employment value proposition. 
  • Ensure candidates and hiring leaders have a positive experience throughout the hiring process, providing timely communication, white glove service, and feedback. 
  • Support compliance and best practices by managing candidates through the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) and ensuring all hiring steps are documented. 
  • Assist in preparing job offers and onboarding transitions, ensuring alignment with compensation and HR policies. 
  • Responsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer information 
  • Performs other requested tasks and duties

Experience and Skills Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred)

  • Experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive recruiting experience, with proven success recruiting in large, matrixed organizations; agency background preferred.  
  • Experience managing high-volume requisition loads across multiple functions. 
  • Demonstrated success building pipelines for specialized roles in corporate and retail environments. 
  • Strong presence and professional following on LinkedIn; proven experience using social media for branding and recruitment. 
  • Established network in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with the ability to engage local talent markets and communities. 
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and partner at all organizational levels. 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS preferred). 
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner 
  • Is committed to working scheduled hours and has the flexibility to work additional hours based on changing business needs 
  • Knowledge of industry business and passion for following trends in the industry  
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organization 
  • Ability to quickly separate the mission-critical tasks from the lower priority tasks; focuses on the most value-added projects of the day or week 
  • Flexible, with a positive attitude and passion for knowledge 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once 
  • Possesses focused attention to detail and solid organizational and prioritization skills while working quickly and accurately under pressure  
  • Professional manner and strong communication skills internally and with outside vendor partners 
  • Makes strategic and effective decisions in the best interest of our customers and our company, taking care to objectively process information
