Position Purpose
A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that provides
community-inspired, volunteer-powered disaster relief. The position is full-time and is responsible for developing and overseeing all aspects of the Alumni Relations strategy.
This is a temporary role from mid September 2025 through June 30, 2026.
The position is fully remote, however, we’re seeking a candidate comfortable working within an Eastern US or Western Europe time zone.

Essential Functions
- Build and maintain relationships with our alumni community
- Increase user engagement and drive interactions on our Alumni Network platform through meaningful user-generated content
- Identify key alumni to support with events, content and advocacy opportunities
- Facilitate and support alumni-driven events in various locations focused on service and learning opportunities
- Engage our alumni audience to help solve specific organizational challenges
- Communicate the budget required to effectively implement alumni engagement initiatives and ensure responsible oversight of any funds allocated to this area
- Give strategic input and feedback on the direction of the alumni relations strategy
- Perform other duties as required.
Position Requirements
- Education Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Related Experience Previous experience serving with All Hands & Hearts. Previous employment with us is desirable, as is proficiency in marketing and communications.
- Special Competencies/Certifications Excellent written and oral communication skills and confidence working with Google Workspace (particularly Google Documents and Google Sheets) and Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate will be well organized and have a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks and prioritizing them appropriately. They should also be able to manage a dynamic workload and perform in a fast-paced environment. Confidence in using Salesforce and Slack is preferable. Proficiency in using mass communication tools including Active Campaign would be beneficial.

Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation Typical starting salary is $35,000-$38,750 USD based on skills and experience, and up to $42,500 for highly qualified candidates.
