Manage Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) specialists to rapidly deploy across the country in support of new Prime Vendor (PV) implementations, issue resolution, retention efforts, SCO projects, etc.Manage onboarding & training process of newly hired SCO team members & build out and/or standardize SCO procedures & processes.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manage & lead team of SCO specialists in alignment with Supply Chain Solution objectives.
Collaborate with SCO field teams & Sales Management to coordinate & deploy specialists in support of new PV Implementations, issue resolutions, retention efforts, SCO projects, etc. across all classes of trade.
Mentor & groom team to become future Managers & Directors ensuring Individual Development Plans are realistic, relevant, and communicated clearly on expectations.
Build out strategy in conjunction with Supply Chain Solutions Leadership to leverage SCO specialists in support of retention efforts & Top 150 IDN engagements.
Standardize & lead new hire SCO orientation & implementation phase training programs.
Provide expertise and guidance to SCO Specialists on Customer engagements, issue resolution, projects, etc.
Standardize SCO field operations’ procedures & processes to drive synchronization across all regions to include but not limited to knowledge management, SCO service quoting, bulk to LUM conversions, Phase II assessments, process change communication, etc.
Identify & spearhead continuous improvement initiatives & projects for team to target quarterly.
Provide support & guidance to SCO field team for any additional advanced level SCO programs or issues.
Management responsibilities:
--Typically oversees professional employees/teams OR manages non-professional employees through Supervisors in manufacturing, distribution or office environments
--Day-to-day operations of a group of employees
--May have limited budgetary responsibility and usually contributes to budgetary impact
--Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects; develop, recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies
--Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning
--Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies
Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
At least 5 years of Supply Chain (Warehousing, Inventory, Logistics, Analytics) experience to include Logistic consulting experience and/or Supply Chain experience in the healthcare industry.
Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Position requires travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Requirements:
Operational / Distribution Center experience.
Previous experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
Six Sigma/Lean Training.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$96,200.00 - $144,560.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
