Job Summary:

 

This role will support the NA sales, manufacturing, and supply chain strategie,s ensuring that customers’ needs and expectations are met and exceeded. By leveraging expertise in SAP master data and material replenishment systems, the Director will ensure seamless operations and continuous innovation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both direct and indirect leadership, fostering collaboration and delivering measurable results.

 

 

Scope of Responsibility:

 

This leadership role will oversee cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving revenue growth.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Liaison to Sales & Product Leadership: support the development and execution of strategic sales plans to achieve business targets. Intimate understanding of new product introductions, communication of demand changes, and support of stocking programs.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee end-to-end operational processes, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • SAP Master Data Management: Utilize deep expertise in SAP master data to maintain accurate, consistent, and reliable data across systems, supporting sales and operations functions.
  • Material Replenishment Systems: Support and optimize material replenishment processes to ensure timely availability of resources, minimizing disruptions and improving supply chain and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire, lead and influence both directly and indirectly across multiple levels across the organization.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs for sales, operations, and supply chain performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, IT, and supply chain teams to align strategies and streamline processes.
  • Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives, including system upgrades and process improvements, ensuring stakeholder buy-in, user adoption and overall successful implementation.
  • Plan For Every Part (PFEP): Design, organize stakeholders, implement, and maintain a PFEB for every active part number and component.
  • Value Stream Mapping: Support the mapping of indirect areas to identify waste and then lead the implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of sales experience combined with 7+ years of operations experience in either source, make, and deliver functions, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting aggressive targets in compressed timelines to maximize business performance.
  • Extensive experience with SAP master data management, including configuration, maintenance, and integration.
  • Proven expertise in material replenishment systems, such as MRP or Kanban, within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success in leading both direct reports and indirect teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
  • Skills:
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • The ability to navigate fast-moving priorities while keeping the customer in mind.
  • Ability to influence using data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter who understands their priorities and can work with limited direction where appropriate.

 

  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field; MBA preferred.

  • Certifications (Preferred):

  • SAP certification in relevant modules (e.g., SAP MM, SD).

  • Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification.
