Job Description:

Anderson Orthopaedic clinic is looking for an experienced pharmacy technician to join our team at in our in-office pharmacy. We are looking for a pharmacy technician who is dependable, reliable, friendly, and has a positive attitude. We are looking for someone that is detail oriented and has the ability to follow instructions and procedures. The Anderson Clinic offers competitive starting pay, benefits, and work schedule (no nights or weekends required!).

Job Duties:

  • Processes all medication orders accurately and timely manner.
  • Maintains good patient relations by responding promptly to questions, problems, and or concerns of customers.
  • Ensures compliance with all state regulations regarding medication administration.
  • Ensures that all medication orders are processed in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that all medication orders are completed accurately and timely manner.
  • Ensures that all medications are dispensed accurately and timely.

Experience:

  • Pharmacy technician experience: 2 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Virginia Pharmacy Technician License (Required)

Work Environment:

  • Clinic office, well lighted, well ventilated. Work may be stressful due to a busy office. Continual interaction with others.
