The Athletics Department at Georgia State University is seeking to hire an Athletics Marketing Manager.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
This position will assist in corporate marketing execution primarily for football and men's and women's basketball. This position serves as the main point of contact for the Spirit Squads and Band for all athletics contests and fan events. Making sure the band and spirit squads are participating in the game and present for the following:
- Home football game (including Spring Game).
- Select Away football games based on budget/schedule.
- Panther Pep band all men's and women's home basketball games.
- Post season appearances for men's and women's basketball and football.
- Varsity sports limited on a case by case basis.
- Pep rallies, Campus Events, and the Spirit Activities and appearances on a case by case basis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Assist in being a contact for all campus entities as it relates to hosting campus groups and campus events at athletic contest for all sports.
- Assist in the solicitation and sales of tickets (season, group, and single game) and attendance for all sports.
- Lead or assist in various aspects of game day management and operations for football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, and other select sports.
- Assist outside corporate sales company's fulfillment coordinator in the implementation of sponsorship elements as they are contractually sold on behalf of Georgia State Athletics (title game sponsors, in game promotion, on site activation etc.)
- Assist in corporate marketing execution primarily for football and men's and women's basketball.
- Assist in the budget and scheduling of advertising campaigns and on-field game operations and promotions. Construct marketing plans for all associated sports Produce advertising pieces, In game content, posters, schedule cards, tickets brochures, magnets, game day giveaways and campus marketing pieces.
- Maintain supervisory duties of the Graduate Assistant, Temporary Staff and Volunteers/Student Assistants in coordination of all athletic marketing functions of the department.
- Perform other related duties assigned by Director of Athletics or Senior Associate AD for External Affairs.
Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience. Master's preferred
