Who We Are Looking For

Woodbine Manufacturing, Inc. (Tommy Gate/ Anteo USA) is seeking a dedicated and driven National Account Manager to oversee the growth of our liftgate product lines in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding market presence, engaging with prospective fleets and key upfitters, and ensuring that customer requirements are clearly communicated to our internal teams. The ideal candidate is an individual who can understand complex situations and effectively convey critical information to colleagues, engineers, and key decision makers. 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Engage High-Potential Customers: Identify and connect with fleet managers, vehicle acquisition experts, leasing and rental companies, key upfitters, and top-level executives managing large vehicle fleets.

  • Understand Client Needs: Dive deep into the liftgate and material handling challenges faced by our clients, ensuring you’re their trusted partner and advisor.

  • Shape Future Product Development: Use your insights, market feedback, and effective communication to influence our product development and strategic direction.

  • Navigate Complex Sales Cycles: Skillfully manage intricate sales processes, collaborating with a range of stakeholders from decision-makers to influencers.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Sales and our engineering team to ensure our customer engagement and product strategies are perfectly aligned.

  • Situational Clarity & Communication: Demonstrates the ability to fully understand complex situations, accurately convey critical requirements to colleagues and engineering teams, and develop comprehensive, effective proposals that facilitate quick, informed decision-making.



Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Computer skills required:

    • Order Processing Systems

    • Google Workspace products (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides)

    • CRM Software


Desired Skills:

  • Extensive experience in outside sales, including frequent travel. A strong track record in the Class 2–8 commercial vehicle markets and a deep understanding of industry trends, challenges, and dynamics is preferred but not required.

  • Proven success in complex sales environments, ideally within truck equipment or the broader commercial vehicle industry, with established industry networks a plus. The ability to switch between advising, direct selling, and influence selling is key. Knowledge of and the ability to execute push–pull sales strategies.

  • Expertise in managing highly complex, interdependent issues by identifying root causes and offering informed recommendations while driving innovative and effective solutions.

  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities that influence diverse stakeholders, enhance departmental performance, and achieve strategic objectives.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at clearly and persuasively articulating complex proposals and technical information to varied audiences.

  • Skilled in translating customer needs into tailored solutions while providing strategic insights that inform product innovation and market positioning.

  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work seamlessly with Sales, Engineering, and other stakeholders, serving as a key liaison to ensure alignment and mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Demonstrated negotiation expertise, building consensus and delivering clear, compelling proposals to stakeholders across all levels.

  • Adaptable in dynamic environments, responsive to changing market and customer needs.

  • The position is fully remote, providing the flexibility to work from any location.
