Position Summary: 

 

Reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain Management, the Supply Chain Business Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing supply chain operations by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. This role supports strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs (e.g., inventory turnover, order accuracy, lead times).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, operations, finance) to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
  • Manage new vendor process across multiple operating companies.
  • Providing sourcing support, developing bid packages, requesting pricing, and negotiating 
  • Assist in the implementation of supply chain technologies and ERP systems.
  • Identification and analysis of market data and provision of analytics to support sourcing and/or rate increase, reduction negotiations 
  • Developing scorecards to monitor vendor performance 
  • Researching cost data to support creation of Should Cost and other SCM models for strategic categories of spend.
  • Create and maintain vendor price catalogs. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Distribution, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations in line with Supply Chain Management best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and timely decision-making ability.
