Hybrid Tolerance Simulation Specialist Intern at Eberspaecher

Job Title: Intern

Reports to: Tim Fensch 

Objective of the Position: Assists the Tolerance Simulation Specialist by creating analysis simulations using the VSA software tool from Siemens.  

Essential Accountabilities: the position incumbent ensures, that

• Ability to read & review Component/Assembly 2D
• Create & analyze TCA simulation models using dimensional tolerance software. 
• Report TCA findings to simultaneous engineering groups.
• Participate in Component/Assembly drawing & Gage reviews
• PDM management (CDB (Cim-data base) preferred, Siemens, Dassault, etc…

Secondary Accountabilities: the position incumbent ensures, that

• Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.
• Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Purem Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS16949, ISO45001 and ISO 14001.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirement Profile:

Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:

• Student working towards a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in field assigned. 
• Understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T and CAD software
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office. 
• Ability to travel domestically by car.
• Must be diligent, hardworking, sincere and quick to pick thing up.
• The ability to take skills acquired in school and apply them in a professional setting.

• Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations, including calculations, percentages, etc. 
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.

• This position involves working indoors ocassionall exposed to mechanical and hazards, fumes, irritants and high noise levels while in the plant. 
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
