IPS – RMB Products is seeking an Technical Engineering Intern. This is a student undergoing on-the-job supervised training in preparation for a desired career. The individual will learn the inner workings of an engineering-oriented company that focuses on innovation.  The intern train with experienced engineers and will perform a variety of project tasks across value streams. This internship is expected to run from June 2nd - Sept 19th (16 weeks) and requires 20-30 hours per week of availability.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Assist in the optimization of PFA molding for Semiconductor; DOE performed and analysis.
  • Assist in the continuation of Laser Sintering fixture refurbishment and modification, Laser Sintering parameter optimization.
  • Perform shrink rate analysis on all materials.
  • Aid engineering in various projects.
  • Validate the size and configurations of molds for catalogue parts.
  • Provides support for engineering team.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.

Job Specifications:
  
 Education: 
A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma/GED and at least two years schooling pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
 

Years’ Experience: 0-2 years of relevant work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
 

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.
  • Good interpersonal skills to engage with production leads and associates.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
