Vehicle Unloader – Houston, TX

Road & Rail Services is hiring Vehicle Unloaders in Houston, TX for a role that demands strength, coordination, and the ability to work outdoors in all conditions. If you've spent at least two years in physically demanding outdoor work - such as construction, landscaping, farming, or other heavy labor - and you're ready for a stable, safety-driven career, this could be the job for you.
A Day in the Life
You'll unload brand-new vehicles from railcars for transport, guiding them into tight spaces and securing them for shipment. This requires climbing ladders up to 16 feet, opening heavy railcar doors, and working in areas with less than 60 inches of clearance - including entering and exiting vehicles inside the railcar. You'll be on your feet all day, moving, lifting, and working with precision to keep shipments safe and damage-free.

What It Takes to Succeed
- At least two years of physically demanding outdoor work experience
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions
- Ability to lift 60 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather, including heat, cold, and rain
