Job Summary
The Lawndale Elementary School District has a vacant Accounting Technician position available at our District Office. This is a 12-month, 8-hour/day position that accumulates one paid vacation and one sick day per month of employment. In addition, LESD pays 100% for employee health/welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc). Dependent coverage is at a cost to the employee. In addition, LESD provides a $1,000 per year career enrichment program for employees. Requirements / Qualifications
Available Position
Accounting Technician- M-F 8:00am-4:30pm
Minimum Requirements include Basic accounting practices and procedures, bookkeeping, and financial record-keeping principles.
Required Documents: (must be attached to your EDJOIN application – pdf format works best):

* Copy of high school diploma or higher degree
* Typing certificate indicating a minimum 40 wpm (net) dated within 12 months (internet certificates will be accepted)
Test Requirements: All applicants must take and pass a one-hour (scantron) multiple choice test with a score of 70% or better to be eligible to interview. Detailed testing information will be provided once the application is submitted.
Current LESD Employees may submit a Reassignment Request Form with all required documents, to the District Receptionist before the closing date and time of this posting. Reassignment Request Forms are available at the District Office or online at www.lawndalesd.net/hr.
