Job Summary

The Lawndale Elementary School District has a vacant Accounting Technician position available at our District Office. This is a 12-month, 8-hour/day position that accumulates one paid vacation and one sick day per month of employment. In addition, LESD pays 100% for employee health/welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc). Dependent coverage is at a cost to the employee. In addition, LESD provides a $1,000 per year career enrichment program for employees. Requirements / Qualifications

Available Position Accounting Technician- M-F 8:00am-4:30pm Minimum Requirements include Basic accounting practices and procedures, bookkeeping, and financial record-keeping principles. Required Documents: (must be attached to your EDJOIN application – pdf format works best): * Resume * Copy of high school diploma or higher degree * Typing certificate indicating a minimum 40 wpm (net) dated within 12 months (internet certificates will be accepted) Test Requirements: All applicants must take and pass a one-hour (scantron) multiple choice test with a score of 70% or better to be eligible to interview. Detailed testing information will be provided once the application is submitted. Current LESD Employees may submit a Reassignment Request Form with all required documents, to the District Receptionist before the closing date and time of this posting.
