REQUIREMENTS:
WORK DAYS: 191 days (Student days only) - 191 Day Work Year Calendar
Monday through Friday, 6 hours/day, 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Position will end December 19, 2025.
SALARY: Range 16, salary placement from $18.71 to $26.10 hourly
Salary prorated based on start date and prior experience.

TITLE: LOCKER ROOM ASSISTANT
SALARY RANGE: 16
JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, to assist teachers with classroom and other non-instructional duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
a. Required:
1 High school graduation or its equivalent.
2. Must pass basic high school competency test.
3. Ability to speak and write effectively; understand and follow oral and written instructions; work effectively with young
people; work independently on own initiative; establish and maintain cooperative relationships; ability to work calmly and
accurately under pressure and with frequent interruptions.
b. Desirable:
1. Experience in youth activities, sports and/or physical education.
2. Knowledge and understanding of developmental stages of students.
3. Ability to communicate in Spanish.
4. Ability to keyboard.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Support teachers in tasks such as clerical, recordkeeping, equipment set up and break down as assigned.
2. Monitor and maintain locks and lockers.
3. Perform minor cleaning which may include custodial work, assisting in laundering of loaner clothing.
4. Administer first aid as needed to ill and injured students.
5. Monitor on-campus student activities as assigned under the guidance and direction of an administrative staff member.
6. Administer and correct teacher prepared tests.
7. Perform other duties as required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
2. Ability to stand and circulate for extended periods of time.
3. May require the ability to ascend and descend steps.
4. Ability to see and read, with or without vision aids.
5. Ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels.
6. Ability to communicate so others will clearly understand normal conversation.
7. Ability to bend and twist, kneel and stoop.
8. Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and lift/carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
9. Ability to reach in all directions.
10. Physical dexterity in limbs and digits to operate keyboards, locks, athletic equipment.
