Position Overview
ABM is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a large-scale campus facility comprising 1.5-2 million square feet across 4 buildings. This on-site leadership role requires managing operations for one primary customer and multiple tenants while ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence.
- Location: Houston, TX - On-site campus position
- Employment Type: Full-time, non-union position, On site
- Travel: No required; position is campus-based, Walking is required
- Pay: $105K-115K/ Annually

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Direct day-to-day operations across a 1.5-2MM square foot, 4-building campus facility
- Conduct daily inspections of all buildings to ensure operational standards and safety compliance
- Monitor and manage work order systems to ensure timely completion of maintenance and service requests
- Coordinate with customer and multiple tenant stakeholders to address operational needs and concerns
- Walk between buildings regularly to maintain visibility and oversight of operations
Team Leadership & Human Resources
- Manage, hire, and train on-site staff to ensure adequate coverage and service levels
- Provide ongoing coaching and motivation to team members to maximize performance
- Process payroll and manage staffing schedules
- Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability
Financial Management
- Develop and manage operational budgets for the campus facility
- Maintain and analyze profit and loss (P&L) statements
- Process purchase orders and manage vendor relationships
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures while maintaining service quality
Stakeholder Relations
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with customer and tenant representatives
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding operational status and initiatives
- Address and resolve tenant concerns and service issues promptly
Required Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L statements, budgeting, and financial management principles
- Leadership: Proven management experience with ability to lead, motivate, and coach employees effectively
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively across teams and organizations
- Physical Requirements: Ability to walk extensively between buildings and conduct on-site inspections
Experience Requirements
- Previous project management or operations management experience
- Experience managing teams and budgets
- Background in facilities management, property management, or related field preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Building management experience (desired but not required)
- Experience managing large-scale commercial or campus facilities
- Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations
