Additional Information: Show/Hide GENERAL INFORMATION: Mariner Middle School, Beacon Middle School, Fred Thomas Middle School or Cape Henlopen High School Casual/Seasonal 12 hrs./week, 2 days/week Work hours are during the school day. Schedules will vary. $21.00/hr.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Current college students working on a degree in education or working towards a Bachelor's Degree or retired teachers or Education professionals
RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow AVID tutor protocol Required 6 hour AVID tutor training - Cape will provide the training once hired Work with groups of 2-7 students in core academic areas of Math, Science, Social Studies, and ELA Tutoring could also include Honors or AP course students Able to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships. Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Able to work independently and exercise initiative. Willingness to continue professional growth and development. Ability to understand and carry out both oral and written instructions in an independent manner.
Must have own transportation; no mileage reimbursement
