Description
We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable part-time Registered Dietitian to join our Endocrinology office The RD will provide nutritional assessments, education, and counseling for patients with a variety of needs, including chronic disease management (such as diabetes, hyperlipidemia, PCOS) and weight control and more. This role is an integral part of our patient-centered care model.
Advocare, LLC is a physician-owned partnership of leading pediatricians, family practitioners, and specialists serving communities across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. As a dietician at Advocare, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional patient care within a supportive, forward-thinking clinical environment.
Registered Dietitian Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop personalized nutrition care plans
- Educate and counsel patients on healthy eating, diet modifications, and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate care
- Document patient interactions and progress in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Monitor outcomes and adjust care plans as needed
- Stay up to date on nutrition trends, research, and best practices
- Participate in health promotion events, workshops, or group sessions as applicable
Schedule:
- 4 - 5 hours a week
- Option to be in person or virtual
Requirements
Registered Dietitian Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field required
- Completion of ACEND-accredited dietetic internship
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential and current licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
