Key Responsibilities
- Provide a range of administrative services to new and existing clients.
- Supporting the receivership / liquidation team with gathering relevant information for reporting to clients
- Contribute to drafting business plans, information memoranda, and other strategic business reports.
- Assist in the negotiation of asset sales during liquidations, receiverships, and examinerships.
- Support the identification, resolution, and escalation of commercial issues as necessary.
- Assist in preparing restructuring proposals, including detailed financial projections.
- Develop and analyse financial forecasts to evaluate business performance, identify risks, and support strategic decision-making.
- Review and conduct due diligence on business plans to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and alignment with client objectives.
- Assist in corporate restructuring, reorganisation, including due diligence, identification of opportunities, and facilitating smooth transitions.
- Perform other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as required.
- Acquiring relevant tax information for each entity and ensuring all relevant bodies are informed of receivership / liquidation.
- Submitting statutory returns / payments in accordance with legal requirements.
- Complete regular financial monitoring for clients and ensure funds are utilised correctly.
- Completing weekly / monthly reporting as per agreed timelines.
- Review information analytics to facilitate case strategy and fulfil reporting requirements
- Report to senior members of staff on a regular basis to assist with weekly case reviews.
- Liaise with clients, legal professionals, statutory bodies and relevant stakeholders.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A business-related degree with at least an 2:1 result or expected 2.1.
- Some work experience in a business environment is advantageous.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
- Proficiency in IT/Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Technical proficiency and a continuous learning mindset.
