We are seeking candidates with strong technical skills and effective problem-solving abilities for the role of IT Support Technician. Responsibilities encompass serving as the primary point of contact for all IT-related inquiries at the user level, addressing user needs promptly, and ensuring the optimal functioning of all systems, among other tasks. Additionally, the role may involve occasional responsibilities such as installing network and camera cabling, setting up wired/wireless networks, implementing security camera systems, configuring phone systems, and managing door access systems
What you will tackle:
General IT Support
- Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for problem resolution
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Establishing good relationships with all clients and colleagues.
Hardware & Software Support
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components.
- Repairing or replacing damaged computer hardware.
- Managing technical documentation.
- Keeping accurate and detailed descriptions of services performed while on a service call.
- Assisting with installation of Ethernet and Coaxial cabling as well as various network or security systems.
Requirements
Skills and Capabilities you Bring
Minimum Experience:
- 3+ years experience in IT support and systems maintenance.
- Microsoft Windows Desktop Environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work comfortably on a ladder
