SALARY: $18.98- $24.05, depending on experience.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This 5.5 hour position begins August 21, 2025. Hours are M-F, 7:15 am to 2:45 pm. This position is for 183 days per school year. Salary and benefits to be established in accordance with the negotiated Classified salary schedule.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist teaching staff in a school setting by implementing teacher designed instructional tasks, record keeping, student supervision other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Meet ESSA requirements: two years (72+ quarter credits) college credit or successful completion of Work Keys test prior to hiring.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
- Physical characteristics needed: ability to communicate with co-workers, students, and the public; ability to communicate over the telephone; ability to hear (must respond to telephone, bells, students, co-workers, etc.); ability to see (must respond to classroom disturbances, visual cues, student requests, etc.); ability to operate office equipment; ability to carry or lift light loads (25 lbs) and occasionally climb a ladder.
PREFERENCES: - May be given to those who are bilingual in Spanish and English.
