Job Title: Logistics Management Specialist

Duties:

  • Provide support for Army modernization and horizontal integration across all Cross Functional Teams.
  • Provide support to modernization priorities including providing sustainment implication analysis and integration impacts in the development and updating of an affordable incremental force modernization effort, reviewing program documents, providing input to operational and sustainment concepts, proposed and programmed incremental capability enhancements, CDIDs, Program Managers, and other organizations as needed for solutions.
  • Review, develop, and analyze Army modernization capability development documents
  • Assist in planning the integration and assessment of proposed and approved Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) initiatives.
  • Conduct analysis and recommend changes and courses of action for individual and collective modernization initiatives relevant to sustainment, maintenance and reliability requirements and sustainment impacts.
  • Assist in the development and integration of sustainment concepts and analysis,
  • Conduct analysis to determine support impacts for potential requirement changes.
  • Assist with ensuring Sustainment and Energy performance parameters are well defined when Army Signature Modernization Capability Development Documents.

Job Specific Qualifications:

  • Be able to complete all Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Life Cycle Logistician Level 1 Training (computer based).
  • Experience reviewing doctrinal documents, modernization documents, and identifying the support impacts of modernization initiatives including DOTMLPF-P analysis.
  • Subject matter expert in logistics readiness and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team including team members of a geographically dispersed group.
  • Demonstrated experience in working and leading teams.
  • Possess excellent communication, presentation development, and customer interaction skills, both face-to-face and virtually
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite products, especially MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Training and experience with the Joint Capabilities and Integration Development (JCIDS) and capability development systems, products, and processes.
  • Understanding of the DOTMLPF-P and the interrelationships.
  • Possess ability to collaborate with other teams in performing analysis, writing reports, identifying issues, and escalating to appropriate teams.

 Work Environment:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Workdays do not include working or conducting business on Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed closings.

 Travel:

Travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) to support tasks and requirements may be required.
