We are seeking a(n) Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer I in our Broomfield, CO Location.

Estimated total wage: $62,500 - $78,000 Annually
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, implement, and continuously monitor company-wide safety programs and policies to ensure alignment with best practices and corporate standards.
Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local HSE regulations and requirements.
Deliver effective training for Emergency Response Teams (ERT) and employees on topics including emergency response, life safety, industrial hygiene, and chemical and fire hazards.
Respond to workplace emergencies, incidents, and accidents; lead and/or participate in root cause analyses and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and surveys to proactively identify occupational hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Prepare and submit all required HSE-related reports to local, state, and federal agencies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of incidents, inspections, and corrective actions.
Partner with ISC Operations and other HSE team members to support the implementation of global programs and ensure overall compliance.
Provide clear and consistent communication with key stakeholders and leadership on HSE initiatives and project updates.
Support the development, review, and update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other site operations-related documentation.
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support the success of the ISC team and overall company objectives.
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of experience with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable safety standards and regulations
Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. person (defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status)
