Primary Purpose

Provides analytical support and executes quality customer service for one or more areas pertaining to Agri-Business. Designs, adopts and implements tools and services across Agri-Business and their customers. Creates reports, processes and data that adds to the value proposition of Agri-Business.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Builds Reports - Utilizes Agris software and all other available data to build daily, weekly and monthly reports that assist the Director and above on all grain warehousing, distribution and contract management.
  2. Market/Situational Research - Reviews supply and demand fundamentals for customers and producers. Researches building our farmer base by analyzing current state interaction with future state planning.
  3. Building/Managing Process - Centralizes contract management, implements customer relationship management (CRM), reviews hedge effectiveness-unwind and hedge current positions and inventory and grain management, process or design.
  4. Presentations/Training - Internal and external design and builds tools created to improve efficiencies, i.e., CRM for farmer outreach/intake. Monthly, quarterly and annually for leadership.
  5. Forward Analysis - Forecasts forward prices of grain with standard deviation. Analyzes grain warehouse for trade of grain/forecast of margin potential in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience preferably in an Agri-Business environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, as needed for presenting to external customers and internal leadership.
  • Ability to mine and analyze data.
  • Agris software knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to champion strong positive culture.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
