POSITION: Pestalozzi Brand Manager
OVERVIEW: Design and lead the marketing and sales efforts of Pestalozzi Brands at Suncoast Beverage Sales, creating overall marketing brand plans and managing of the Pestalozzi Brands. Responsible for scheduled sales calls in specific accounts on a regular basis. This position reports directly to the VP of Off Premise Sales.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initiate, develop, and implement strategic brand and marketing plans that include initiatives and key strategies for successful implementation.
- Develop and adhere to brand budget, to include review and approval of trade spending. Review and approve proposals. Maximize the return on brand dollars by tracking the efficiency and the effectiveness of projects and activities.
- Work at special events to create interest and educate consumers on Suncoast Beverage Sales Pestalozzi brands.
- Establish evaluation methods to measure effectiveness of brand efforts. Prepare summary recommendations and detailed reports of research findings, promotional results, etc.
- Ride-with and/or Team Sell in targeted accounts with Account Managers to create sales opportunities with the Pestalozzi Brands.
- Create an Independent Account Call Frequency to grow distribution and volume.
- Analyze business, consumer, and competitive trends.
- Grow brand distribution bases to achieve company goals.
- Participate and/or conduct training for sales teams.
- Participate in Retail shelf sets to increase space and place new distribution when opportunities are present.
- Obtain and maintain brand exposure commensurate with the aims, objectives, images, and mission of Suncoast Beverage Sales.
- Function as the Suncoast Beverage Sales contact person with the Pestalozzi Brands.
- Adhere to all company standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Any other tasks that are associated with the position, as deemed necessary by your direct supervisor.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
- Strong brand marketing and sales experience essential
- Leadership, initiative, problem solving and accountability necessary.
- Written and verbal communication, presentation and public speaking skills required to excel in this position.
- Creative, analytical, result and profit oriented.
- Computer experience to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point Ability to present oneself in a professional manner at all times.
