Full-Time, Permanent | 37 Hours per Week
Location: Blythe Valley Park, Solihull
The Role:
- Working closely with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Preparing financial statements and year-end accounts
- Processing client records and transactions
- Producing management accounts
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
- Handling basic client queries
- Supporting the team with administrative and ad hoc tasks as needed
The Person:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- A professional, organised approach to work
- Solid IT skills – experience with Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and CCH is a plus
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills
- A flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- AAT qualified or currently studying towards ACCA
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
