Description

CNB St. Louis Bank is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Commercial Lending team as an Administrative Assistant. As a locally owned and operated bank, CNB is committed to serving our customers personally and making banking simple and accessible. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support including processing wire transfers, maintaining loan documentation, and serving as a key point of contact for commercial lending clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support our commercial lending operations while contributing to our mission of helping local businesses and families achieve their financial goals. This position reports to the Senior Loan Coordinator and head of the Commercial Lending Department.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Documentation

  • Complete wire transfers accurately and efficiently
  • Process construction draws in accordance with lending protocols
  • Build and maintain comprehensive loan files
  • Process transactions, invoices, and payments
  • Draft, edit, and format documents including memos and reports

Customer Service & Communication

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing information and assistance with inquiries
  • Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel
  • Greet visitors and ensure a welcoming experience

Administrative Support

  • Organize and maintain files, both physical and digital systems
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Perform various clerical duties as needed
  • Provide general support to the Commercial Lending team

 

Qualifications


Qualifications

  • Banking experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and work independently
  • Ability to understand complex operational processes and workflows
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, analyze information and make decisions
  • Willingness to assume additional responsibilities, duties, and projects as they arise
