Message from the Hiring Manager:

The Sales Manager/Director will lead and manage the transition from all active accounts in Canada. This role is crucial in meeting base case revenue, for then driving revenue growth, managing accounts relationships, migrating existing contracts and tenders, successfully integrating of country current customers to the new business model in Canada. Additionally, the Sales Manager/Director will be instrumental in prospecting, qualifying, and recommending the most suitable sales representative(s), leveraging the industry knowledge and expertise to enhance the pre-selected options. The Sales Manager/Director will be pivotal in achieving our revenue goals, with a specific focus on high-priority accounts during the transition period. The Sales Manager/Director will train, coach and manage the team based in Canada and will report to the International Sales VP.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serving as an expert in Caldera Medical’s product lines, you will lead the distributors and business partners in driving sales results and achieving desired growth objectives in the countries within the region.
  • Prospect, qualify, select, train and motivate distributors and their teams of sales professionals to achieve quota and corporate goals.
  • Meet monthly/quarterly and yearly revenue and gross margins goals for the assigned region by acting as player/coach to outside sales force and third-party business partners.
  • Negotiate and develop a solid network of Distributors with Key Account Managers, Sales Reps and Clinical Practice Specialists.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key surgeons and training centers.
  • Provide strategic input to the International Lead. Identify and report on potential opportunities to promote sales growth.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be close to a well-connected airport and within 80kilometer-120kilometers from Thunderbay, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec, Mississauga, Winnipeg
  • Must have 4-year degree. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of medical device experience in the OR surgical space.
  • 5+ years' experience managing a direct and indirect sales team.
  • Consistent performance exceeding sales quotas (documented stack rankings).
  • Solid knowledge of Market Access and Reimbursement of SUI & POP implants throughout the countries within the region.
  • Must have proven solid experience and track record on Planning and Executing aligned with Corporate Strategy.
  • Willingness to be in field 60% of time with frequent overnight stays required.

Nice to have:

  • Direct sales entities planning, opening and management.
  • Solid experience in Team Building processes in the different Countries within the territory.
  • Experience in Women’s Pelvic Health Solutions segment.

Compensation

  • $100k-$130K (CAD)
  • Extended Health and Dental
  • RRSP Contribution
