WHAT YOU’LL DO:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all details and paperwork related to equipment sales are accurately completed and processed both before and after the sale is finalized. You will act as the central point of contact for sales administration, helping to streamline processes and provide critical support to both the sales team and customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include handling sales invoicing, processing purchase orders, administering warranties, monitoring departmental expenses, and generating reports to track sales, performance and compliance and directing customers and trucks to the proper location for loading and unloading.
Additionally, you will support the sales team in the field by answering questions related to manufacturer pricing programs, available discounts, sales incentives, and financing options. This role also includes managing the movement of prime product inventory and attachments, maintaining the trucking schedule, and assisting Territory Managers as needed.
You will play a vital role in locating equipment and attachments and will help answer incoming calls, providing a high level of customer service and team support.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Above-average computer skills including Excel, Outlook, Word, and the ability to learn internal systems such as TANDEM.
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work with limited supervision.
- Experience working directly with customers and knowledge of the heavy equipment market is a plus.
- Ability to walk the yard and locate inventory items such as machines, buckets & attachments.
- Ability to drive a forklift and move / operate heavy equipment- we will train you!
- Familiarity with Salesforce, John Deere quoting system (JDQUOTE2), JD Warranty system, and JDlink GPS system is a plus!
Compensation: $24.94-36.16/hr (Depending on Experience)
