A kind, experienced caregiver is needed to support an independent 87-year-old gentleman in Tiburon. He is friendly, enjoys a quiet lifestyle, and values his autonomy. While he is largely self-sufficient, he would benefit from light support around the house and the steady presence of a respectful, attentive companion.

The ideal candidate approaches care with empathy, patience, and consistency, someone who understands the value of building trust over time. It’s important to meet him where he is, starting with small steps and gently working up to more hands-on care as the relationship grows.
Schedule: 1 weekday visit per week (Monday–Friday)
- 2–3 hours per visit, mornings before 12:00 PM
- Flexible schedule – the family is open to adjusting based on caregiver availability
- Care needs may progress over time and more hours may be needed
Start Date: As soon as the right person is found

Rate: $140 per day
Responsibilities
- Offer warm, respectful companionship
- Observe and report any home or health-related concerns
- Communicate with his daughter as needed about evolving needs
- Light housekeeping, if needed (dishes, tidying, taking out trash, watering plants)
- Gentle hygiene assistance (shower, grooming) if and when welcomed
- Sort through mail when asked
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional caregiving experience
- CPR certified (or willing to become certified)
- Legal U.S. work authorization
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two professional, care-related references
- Able to pass background and social media screening
- Excellent communication skills; patient and respectful demeanor
Compensation + Benefits
$140 per visit (2–3 hours, once a week), with potential for additional hours as the relationship and needs evolve.
