SUMMARY The purpose of the Quality Coach is positively influence the quality culture by supporting the desired goal of establishing a "Work to Standard" manufacturing culture. The Quality Coach supports this goal by first performing defined audits of product and processes against established standards and then reviewing the audit results and documented standards with workstation operators to help induce continuous improve. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform defined audits of product and processes. Review audit finding and discuss work standard with workstation operator after every audit to provide feedback and drive continuous improvement. Evaluate audit findings and review with operational leaders as needed. Participate in corrective actions events to improve/resolve issues with the standards, tools, or process.Participate in daily meetings and provide reflection of previous performance.Communicate metrics and exceptions to leads, supervisors, and various other levels of the organization.Additional duties includes, assisting in product containments, performing Critical to Quality checks, Data Collections, and additional tier management communication. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Language Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and apply information contained in standard work documents. Effective writing and verbal skills to summarize audit findings. Strong knowledge of product, processes, and standard work to draw upon when determining appropriate course of action to take during audit.Awareness of impact that audits may have on manufaturing processes and ability to operate in a manner that achieves key position responsiblities while minimizing negative production impact. Resiliency/Competency in regards to understanding that the basic task of this position is to repetitively model the preferred behavior of working to standard to others who may not immediately comply. MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONSTeam skills with the ability to operate unsupervisedSelf driven with a desire to learn and improveExperience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookFor Internal Candidate: Minimum 1 year experience at Andersen Corporation Garland Assembly Plant.For External Candidate: Minimum 2 years experience as a Quality Technician.Strong written and verbal communication skillsNICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS Bilingual Measurement experience - able to use a tape measure or calipers.
