To support the Personnel Services Department by entering new employee information and assisting with the compilation, organization, and retrieval of data for audits, special projects, and reports as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification:
High School Diploma/GED
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Proficient in data management, analysis, reporting, and adaptability to program software
Proficient skills in typing and data entry
Ability to meet established deadlines
Knowledge of Excel
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
EXPERIENCE:
Prior data entry and data management/maintenance experience preferred
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Entering alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source document using online computer terminal or personal computer
Keys and verifies results according to procedures provided
Recognizes and corrects errors in original data prior to data being entered
Prints reports using data information including district reports or personnel database
Work closely with Business Services and Payroll Manager performing salary data entry
Create and submit New Hire Reporting to Attorney General Office
Maintain and create EE05 report
Create and work with Data Processing for reports needed by Personnel Services, Professional Learning, Benefits and other departments as needed
Update account coding for Master Screen and Position Control Numbers
Update Munis for staff changes
Create and maintain salary tables
Create and maintain job classes in Munis
Create and maintain Years of Service Screen for all employees
Create and maintain Service Record Data in Munis for all employees
Create and maintain Munis Calendars
Create and maintain User Define Fields:
Contract status for running contracts each year
Criminal Record Check Date
Privacy Codes
Work schedules for payroll
Disability amounts for Benefits
Input employee data information in Munis
Work with the District PEIMS Coordinator to address field edit discrepancies and rectify any identified errors
Maintain confidentiality
Perform other duties as required

Applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations
Computing rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

Physical demands/environmental factors:
Sitting continuously
Reaching with hands and arms and frequently repeating the same hand, arm or finger motion
Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 20 lbs.
Reading close work such as typed or handwritten material
Prolonged use of the computer
