PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Provide quality oversight of all purchased finished goods, support quality program of manufactured finished goods. Support and manage all quality programs, tracking and reporting for the distribution operation. Implement a culture of training and awareness of safely receiving, handling and shipping quality product. Support the customer promise of making every interaction effortless by implementing processes and procedures that ensure all customer expectations are met regarding product quality.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Develop and execute quality auditing for all purchased finished goods
- Record, maintain and report on product quality and vendor performance with regard to all SCT requirements – Labeling, Corrugated, Pallet Condition, and other required specifications
- Audit and oversee quality program of Manufactured finished goods to include corrugated fitment, condition of
- Provide structure and expertise acting as a quality liaison between the SCT global team, manufacturing and operations
- Develop and oversee corrective actions for all non-conformances and service failures in the warehouse and distribution setting
- Oversee and report on service failures related to the shipping operation and develop corrective action in partnership with site leaders
- Conduct training to educate and further refine operational support of SCT quality/service goals
- Research and action against customer complaints to ensure sustained improvement
- Maintain quality records, samples, complete necessary paperwork and/or electronic follow-up
- Act as assistant to SCT Safety & Training Technician in the compliance of all regulatory certifications to include but not limited to: GMP, BRCGS, and C-TPAT
- Assist safety leaders in areas but not limited to: on-boarding, new hire training, safety briefings, incident root cause investigation and safety communications/support
- Participate and contribute to Continuous Improvement projects relating to quality, warehousing and shipping services
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years of relevant experience and/or training in quality, safety, or continuous improvement within a warehousing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, data entry systems, and reporting tools). Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to clearly convey complex information across all levels. Ability to operate stand-up forklift, retrieve, move and organize pallets is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must have the ability to read and understand documents, letters, etc. and write legibly in English. Must be able to understand and speak clearly, communicate, and understand directions in English as needed.
