JOB SUMMARY: Serve as the strategic lead for all Marketing promotional and entertainment activities, with direct responsibility for overseeing the execution of event planning and logistics, managing promotional inventory and procurement, driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure marketing initiatives in the area of promotions meet or exceed departmental goals. This position requires strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, along with the ability to assess performance and continuously optimize results.

 QUALIFICATIONS


 Required skills and knowledge:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Management, Administration or Communication.
  • Minimum of 5 years working in a casino marketing environment, with at least 2 years in a position overseeing the creation and execution of all promotional activities.
  •  Advanced experience proofing mail lists, tier qualification data, and casino advertisements for accuracy. 
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Power Point.  
  • Intermediate level experience working within Casino Player Tracking System.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to multiple stakeholders such as internal team members, guests, other vendors for entertainment and promotional partnerships. 
  • Proven experience leading and supervising cross functional teams for a wide array of promotional activities. 
  • Proven experience managing vendor relationships and contracts.  
  • Experience in serving as a liaison between Casino Marketing and other departments to ensure clear communication, alignment, and follow-through on joint initiatives. 
  • Experience working within time and budget constraints.
  • Proven ability to follow directions and stay on task.  
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to remain calm and professional.
  • Must be able to work with a variety of people with diverse personalities and backgrounds.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. 
  • Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
  • Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays. 
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Class III gaming license.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and Driver’s abstract that contains no disqualifying events per the NRWC Safe Driver Policy. 
Preferred skills and knowledge: 
  • 3+ years in a position overseeing the creation and execution of all promotional activities. 
  • Certification in Red Wind’s “Service First” Program. 
  • Ability to make decisions based on analytics and guest feedback. 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis. 
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for a long period of time. 
  • Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled environment. 
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms. 
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles for transporting promotional items to/from events.
 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
  • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Nisqually Red Wind Casino their first choice for gaming entertainment.  
  • Execute and establish priorities for promotional events, ensuring alignment with casino marketing goals.
  • Assist in brainstorming and developing exciting and unique promotions that makes sense for the Casino, based on past analytics, future projections and guest preference, while ensuring competitiveness.
  • Manage the creation of promotional rules and proposals for review and approval, ensuring proper and timely disbursement. 
  • Perform thorough evaluation of vendor procurement offerings for promotional items, and present findings and recommendations to management. 
  • Assist with quality control of promotional system set-ups with high regard to efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Planning, creation, and oversight of both on-site and off-site promotion events. 
  • Oversee vendor contracts, purchasing processes related to promotional activities. 
  • Organize post event debriefs with teams to assess performance and identify process improvements. 
  • Responsible for maintenance and accuracy of inventory of promotional items. 
  • Works as a liaison between Marketing and all other casino departments to identify, brainstorm and develop interdepartmental promotional goals. 
  • Lead the coordination with warehouse team to ensure smooth logistics for all incoming large orders of promotional items, facilitating any storage needs and interdepartmental resources needed. 
  • Facilitate and/or initiate consultation meetings with Club Red Supervisors relative to any process improvement of promotional event execution for elevating guest and team member experience. 
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to internal and external guests.  
  • Assist with guests promotional related inquiries and concerns by contacting guests with solutions or answers, when needed. 
  • Provide feedback and suggestions on proofing for marketing projects, advertisements, and reporting. 
  • Monitor functionality of self-service promotions kiosks, troubleshooting with internal and external tech teams when needed.  
  • Report any guest concerns or complaints to immediate supervisor for resolution. 
  • Understand and demonstrate commitment to the Goals, Mission, Vision, and Core Values of the organization. 
  • Contribute to a positive team environment. 
  • Keep records accurately and neatly. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
