Until filled Additional Information: Show/Hide - Provide an excellent customer experience (courteous, prompt, etc.) for and work collaboratively with all callers, visitors, volunteers, applicants, supervisors, co-workers, and staff.
- Coordinate the office, acting as receptionist, and contact and reference source for staff, students, parents and the public.
- Provide information over the phone or in personal contacts with parents, students or school personnel as appropriate; route calls to appropriate personnel as necessary; coordinate and maintain the school calendar of events.
- Organize, adapt, coordinate, schedule and perform a wide variety of clerical (e.g. technology, Google programs, Infinite Campus, EZ Reach, Foxbright, phone systems, mail, copying, scanning, spreadsheets, etc.) and other office functions and activities; prioritize and schedule duties and assignments to assure efficiency and effectiveness and meet established timelines.
- Maintain a wide variety of documents, files and records (manual and computer) for the purpose of providing up-to-date reference and audit trail.
- Organize and prepare a wide variety of reports and written materials (e.g. budgets, memos, letters, flyers, handbooks, discipline, truancy and suspension reports, fire drill reports, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information.
- Collect and account for money collected in conjunction with student activities; account for and maintain the cash fund as assigned.
- Initiate supply purchase orders, maintain inventories of supplies, materials and equipment (e.g. all general supplies, equipment repairs, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring items' availability.

- Coordination of resources and outside services
- Assistance in filling out forms and legal documents
- Assistance in accessing and obtaining records and documentation

- Regular communication with the district McKinney-Vento coordinators
- Safety and Security Management, including, but not limited to:
- Maintain updated emergency contact information for students and staff.
- Assist in disseminating emergency communications over intercoms, PA systems, or messaging platforms.
- Ensure emergency documents (evacuation plans, lockdown protocols) are current and accessible.
- Document and report accidents, injuries, safety concerns, or suspicious activity to administration or security personnel promptly
- Act as the central communication contact during emergencies, relaying information between administration, staff, emergency responders, and families.
- Assist with scheduling and tracking required safety drills (fire, lockdown, severe weather, etc.).
- Maintain records of drills and assist in ensuring staff follow safety protocols.
- Security Systems Monitoring
- Monitor entry cameras or security feeds if available and notify administration of suspicious activity.
- Communicate maintenance needs for surveillance or alarm systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of responsible clerical or media support experience in a public or district library preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Experience working in ethnically diverse communities and/or with at-risk youth preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate mature judgment, moral and ethical behavior, work independently, project a positive outlook, manner and appearance.
- Ability to speak Spanish and English is preferred.
