Summary

The position provides the opportunity to be mentored by a leading scholar in medical ethics and health policy. Under this mentorship, the law student will help research the landscape of data and genetic privacy statutes, with a focus on criminal justice applications of data, using policy surveillance methodology. Training the methodology will be provided.

Job Purpose

Provides postgraduates a temporary professional learning experience in which participants gain practical work experience related to a graduate’s field of study.

Must be a part of a formal program to train recent graduates in their specialized profession.

Job Duties

  • Receives training on policy surveillance methodology.
  • Participates in conducting policy surveillance on the landscape of data and genetic privacy statutes.
  • Receives mentorship from lawyers and leading scholar in medical ethics and health policy.
  • Participates in intellectual events within the Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completion of postsecondary applicable degree/training program.
