We are actively seeking a Structural Design Staff Engineer I to join our dedicated and collaborative team of professionals in York, PA. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic work environment focused on delivering innovative infrastructure solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Structural Design & Analysis:

            o Design and analyze various structural systems, including masonry, wood, concrete and steel buildings

            o Develop structural designs for in-ground and above-ground concrete tanks, retaining walls, and other infrastructure-related structures

            o Support municipal, private, and water/wastewater infrastructure projects with sound engineering judgment and attention to detail

  • Structural Inspections:

            o Conduct inspections of existing structures to assess current conditions

            o Document structural performance and identify signs of deterioration, damage, or compliance issues

  • Maintenance & Repair Solutions:

            o Provide engineering recommendations for the maintenance, repair, or replacement of a wide range of structural components

            o Develop cost-effective and practical solutions to meet client needs while ensuring safety and code compliance

Requirements


  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, with a structures emphasis
  • Engineer in Training certification or in pursuit of obtaining certification
  • 0-4 years of experience in structure design and/or structures inspection
  • Knowledge of structural design standards and codes
  • Working familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D; Microsoft Office Suite and various structural software programs
  • A team player possessing strong skills in communication, planning and organization
  • Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License is required
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
