Location: Remote with travel to the client as needed. Willingness to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients you serve.
Position Summary:
DXC Technology is seeking a Consulting Lead to join our Americas Consulting team, with leadership responsibility for driving the Application Transformation business across a range of industries. This role sits at the intersection of client relationship development, delivery and sales, with accountability for shaping solutions, leading complex pursuits, and guiding clients through their application modernization journeys.
This role will lead technical assessments, architecture design, and transformation strategy, while also actively originating opportunities, developing proposals, and securing strategic wins. Success in this role requires a balance of consulting depth, sales acumen, and expertise orchestrating a large organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Originate new opportunities by identifying client challenges aligned with DXC’s transformation and engineering capabilities.
- Serve as pursuit leader for strategic deals, shaping solution narratives, defining value propositions, and presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Drive deal closure in collaboration with account teams, solution architects, and delivery leaders.
- Build trusted relationships with CXOs and decision-makers to create long-term consulting opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of high-value consulting engagements tied to application strategy, modernization, and transformation.
Client Delivery & Practice Leadership
- Lead the delivery of application transformation consulting engagements, from assessment and architecture design to delivery oversight and value realization.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior client executives on modernization strategy, application portfolio rationalization, and cloud-native enablement.
- Architect transformation solutions that align with enterprise goals and leverage DXC’s broader capabilities (e.g., Virtual Clarity, Luxoft, cloud, security).
- Orchestrate cross-functional delivery teams across DXC and partners to ensure quality outcomes, accountability, and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to the growth and evolution of DXC’s Application Transformation offerings and accelerators.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in IT consulting or technology services, with significant experience in application transformation, architecture, and modernization.
- Proven track record in solution selling, deal leadership, and closing multi-million-dollar consulting and services engagements.
- Deep understanding of modern application platforms, legacy modernization, DevSecOps, and cloud architecture.
- Experience working with delivery teams composed of multiple engineering partners is highly desirable.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders from technical architects to board-level executives.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or technical MS) is a plus.
