What You'll Do:
The following responsibilities will be prioritized based on the current needs of the business:
The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for full cycle Accounts Payable processing:
Review invoices and check requests for accuracy, legitimacy, coding, supporting documentation and proper authorization prior to processing
Oversee Accounts Payable team’s responsibilities and duties.
Enter invoices and check requests into Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounts payable module in a timely manner, ensuring proper allocation to cost centers
Prepare Open Payables report and submit it to Accounting Manager for approval prior to processing weekly check runs
Extract and build the month end AP accrual.
Manage reconciliation process of company credit card statements with employee expense report activity, ensuring supporting documentation is complete, appropriate and accurately coded
Process check runs, match invoices to checks, obtain signatures and distribute/mail vendor checks
File paid invoices with check copies and supporting documentation upon completion of check runs
Regularly monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are current
Maintain current W-9 information for all active vendors; process and distribute year-end 1099’s
Respond to, and resolve, all vendor inquiries such as payment status of invoices, unpaid invoices, unapplied credits and invoice discrepancies
Maintain vendor information in Microsoft Dynamics 365, entering new vendors and updating active vendors
Manage distribution of incoming mail
Various ad-hoc reports, analysis and projects
Cross-train to act as backup to the other finance staff
Who You Are:
Must have 5 years in previous Accounts Payable manager position
Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work in a high-volume environment
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Stampli experience is a plus
Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus
