Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Cluster Assistant Director of Sales, Weddings is responsible for driving the wedding business for Raffles Sentosa Singapore, creating exceptional and personalised experiences for couples and their guests while achieving revenue and business objectives.
The role will lead the end-to-end wedding sales journey, from enquiry and consultation through to contracting and handover, while building strong relationships with clients, wedding planners, event partners, and key stakeholders. The position requires strong commercial acumen, a passion for luxury hospitality, and the ability to create memorable experiences that reflect the distinctive Raffles brand.
What you will be DOING:
- Drive wedding sales revenue and achieve agreed financial targets for Raffles Sentosa Singapore.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the wedding business, including local, regional, social, and luxury wedding segments.
- Manage wedding enquiries from initial contact through consultation, proposal, negotiation, contracting, and final handover to the Events Operations team.
- Conduct personalised wedding consultations and venue showcases, understanding each couple's vision and translating it into a bespoke Raffles experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with couples, wedding planners, event agencies, luxury partners, and other key business partners.
- Proactively develop new wedding leads through networking, referrals, partnerships, events, showcases, and industry contacts.
- Prepare compelling proposals, quotations, packages, and contracts tailored to clients' requirements.
- Negotiate confidently with clients while protecting hotel revenue, profitability, and commercial interests.
- Work closely with Culinary, Events Operations, Butler Services, Rooms Division, and other departments to ensure seamless delivery of weddings.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, sales reporting, and follow-up of all wedding opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, wedding trends, and client preferences to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop creative wedding packages and initiatives that strengthen Raffles Sentosa Singapore's positioning within the luxury wedding market.
- Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, client interactions, proposals, contracts, and business activities in the relevant systems.
- Attend wedding fairs, showcases, networking events, site inspections, and client meetings to promote the hotel and generate business.
- Ensure a smooth and detailed handover from Sales to Events Operations, maintaining clear communication on client expectations and commitments.
- Support the Director of Events Sales in developing annual sales strategies, budgets, and business plans.
Ensure all business is conducted in accordance with hotel policies, Accor standards, and relevant legal and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Sales & Marketing, Events Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in luxury hospitality, events, wedding sales, catering sales, or a similar role.

- Established network of wedding planners, event agencies, luxury partners, or relevant industry contacts will be an advantage.
