Super Technologies is one of the largest sports betting operators in the region, operating 1,000+ location networks across multiple geographies. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute directly to the design and development of a platform that handles 22 million bets per month, playing a key role in its stability, scalability, and expansion into new markets.
What the role involves
- Contribute directly to the design and development of our platform
- Optimise the platform to support product features more efficiently
- Ensure platform stability and reliability across all environments
- Support platform expansion into new markets, maintaining a stable hosting environment
- Enable traders to define mappings to our external offerings
- Drive improvements to platform health across scalability, speed, quality, and flexibility
- Maintain low latency and high success rates to directly improve user experience
- Conduct design and code reviews, and provide mentorship to other team members
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience building high-quality software
- Strong engineering practices including code reviews, CI/CD, and design documentation
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with a focus on performance and scalability
- Passion for delivering high-quality solutions that anticipate and exceed customer needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Golang, Kubernetes, or Kafka
- Passion for cloud technologies and familiarity with AWS services
- Experience in the betting or gaming industry
