Greater Iowa Credit Union is looking for a Treasury Management Advisor who would be responsible for driving deposit growth, expanding cash management services and increasing fee income through a consultative approach in ensuring sales of Treasury Management solutions to existing and new Credit Union Business Members, including non-profits, municipalities and other public entities. They will cultivate strong relationships with Commercial/Business Lenders and Branch Managers, providing product expertise and tailored solutions to meet member cash management needs.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development – Develop and execute strategies to generate new deposits and fee income, meeting annual growth targets. Update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software with sales activity, revenue projections, and client engagement details.
- Strategic Treasury Management Growth – Identify and manage Treasury Management Business Banking opportunities within the existing portfolio to enhance expansion and retention efforts. Achieve deposit gathering targets and drive adoption of cash management product suite. Promote merchant services and Point of Sale vendor solutions to enhance client operational efficiency.
- Product Expertise & Member Education – Serve as trusted advisor for cash management solutions, merchant services and payment processing needs. Provide deep insights on Treasury Management Business Banking products, educating current and prospective Business Members on their benefits.
- Consultative Sales Approach – Engage with internal teams and external members through in-person meetings and relationship reviews, preparing sales presentations, pricing analyses, and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Senior Business Relationship Managers and Branch teams to maintain alignment on member relationships and ensure delivery of seamless service.
- Staff Training & Education – Conduct ongoing education sessions for credit union personnel, ensuring frontline staff can effectively promote Treasury Management Business Banking solutions.

Requirements
- Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
- (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
