Senior Digital Strategist bei Break Something
Break Something · Vereinigte Staaten Von Amerika · Remote
Description
Break Something is seeking a Senior Digital Strategist who’s ready to hit the ground running to raise money for Democratic candidates and organizations over email, SMS, and direct donate advertisements.
Our ideal candidate is a senior digital professional with political experience who can capture the voice of diverse clients across multiple campaigns — someone equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up their sleeves to get it done.
You've led or played a central role in a digital fundraising operation before. You know what it takes to raise serious money through email, you have experience running direct response advertising campaigns, and you're able to manage competing deadlines across multiple clients without losing the thread. You're a strong communicator, a collaborative leader, and someone who brings genuine commitment to electing Democratic candidates and supporting the nonprofits doing work that matters.
This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to pivot quickly when priorities shift. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and feel at home owning both the strategy and the execution, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Articulating your vision for the digital program to the client in full, producing results, and functioning as the client lead, keeping the client updated on our progress
- Working with teams to develop and implement fundraising and engagement campaigns
- Managing content calendars and writing the majority of email, SMS/MMS, and direct-to-donate advertisement content, with production support
Requirements
4+ years of digital experience minimum
- Experience leading teams for a reasonable-size campaign or organization
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including writing, planning, and executing tests and report results for online campaigns
- Experience as part of a team running direct response advertising programs with a focus on donations and email acquisition.
- Proven results managing political CRMs (NGP, Action Kit, Nation Builder, etc)
- Flexibility to occasionally work weekends and evenings, especially as we gear up for peak election times and experience high volumes with our clients.
Nice to Haves
- Experience monitoring and maintaining email deliverability
- Background managing peer-to-peer rental programs
- Budget tracking experience
