Description
The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager IV to support the Terminal 7 & 8 Refresh Program at LAX.
This is a high-impact aviation role overseeing major terminal improvements including interior renovations, apron pavement rehabilitation, concessions enabling, and supporting infrastructure upgrades.
Salary Range: $200K/Year-$225K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing construction scope, cost, schedule, and operational interfaces
- Monitoring on-site construction activities and contractor performance
- Ensuring work follows approved plans, specifications, ASRs, and shutdown procedures
- Reviewing and negotiating Contractor Change Order Claims
- Coordinating with stakeholders, LAWA Operations, and trade partners
- Monitoring manpower, materials, and equipment to maintain efficiency
- Leading safety, quality, and environmental compliance
- Supporting commissioning, turnover, and operational readiness plans
- Preparing executive-level construction progress reports
Requirements
Experience
- 15+ years of construction management experience
- Experience managing projects over $100M
- Strong aviation/airport project experience preferred
- Experience in active/operating facilities required
- Knowledge of construction lifecycle:
- Pre-construction
- Estimating/buyout
- Phasing
- Implementation
- Closeout
- Experience with multiple delivery methods:
- Design-Bid-Build
- CMAR
- Design-Build
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction contracting practices
- Familiarity with PMIS systems (PM Web preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Bluebeam
- Ability to review change orders and negotiate resolution
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Aviation, Business, Planning, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- Professional certifications (PMP, PE, LEED, AAAE, AICP, etc.) a plus
