Job Description
The Content Operations Editor I is responsible for the precise ingestion and synchronization of linear television programming data into the Gracenote database. This role is a critical link in the media supply chain; errors or delays directly impact viewer experience, advertising revenue, and client trust. You will be responsible for ensuring that what the broadcaster sends is exactly what appears on-screen
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Integrity & Editing: Research, standardize, and process TV series and movie metadata from various sources (studios, distributors, and websites) for entry into the internal database with total accuracy.
- SLA & Backlog Management: Manage a high-volume inbox of schedules, ensuring all updates are processed within strict deadlines to prevent programming gaps.
- Client Communication & Troubleshooting: Respond to emails and communications from global teams and broadcasters to resolve "mismatches," missing data, or technical tickets professionally.
- Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality check reports and self-audits on all entries to ensure 1:1 alignment between source data and system output.
- Operational Transparency: Complete daily tasks and responsibilities diligently, providing verifiable status updates on task completion and ticket resolution.
Qualifications
- Precision-First Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail; a quality-focused approach to data entry and metadata management.
- Communication Excellence: Business-level English proficiency (written and spoken) to coordinate with international teams and external stakeholders.
- Productivity & Prioritization: Proven ability to work in a self-directed, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
- Integrity & Accountability: A high degree of professional ethics, specifically regarding the transparent reporting of work status and task completion.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience using database content management systems (CMS) and working knowledge of MS Office or G-Suite.
- Flexibility: Ready to work in a 24/7 operation, including evening, night, and weekend shifts as dictated by broadcast cycles
