Job Description Summary:
The Production Supervisor manages daily production operations, leading teams to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards and ensuring a safe work environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Supervise and coordinate production staff and lead personnel
· Plan and schedule daily production activities to meet customer deadlines
· Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency metrics
· Train, develop, and evaluate team members
· Enforce safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance
· Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs
· Resolve production issues and implement corrective actions
· Prepare production reports and communicate with management
· Manage inventory of supplies and coordinate ordering
· Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· 3+ years of production/manufacturing experience, 2+ years in supervisory capacity
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) REQUIRED
· Strong leadership and team management skills
· Knowledge of production planning and lean manufacturing principles
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
· Ability to work flexible hours including overtime as needed
· Experience in apparel or textile industry preferred
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand for extended periods
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
· Good hand-eye coordination
