Requirements

The Director of Sales will manage our sales team and ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded. They will be at the forefront of understanding market needs, establishing strong customer relationships, and ensuring our products' value is clearly communicated and understood. The Director of Sales will also work closely with our marketing team to develop strategies to promote our products to medical professionals, hospital administrators, and other relevant stakeholders.

Listed below are the major responsibilities of the role and a brief description of some of the key tasks to be performed. This list is not totally exhaustive.

This is a remote position with routine air and overnight travel.

Major Responsibilities

Under direction from the VP Commercial the Director of Sales will be responsible for:

·       Develop and execute a sales strategy for the region in alignment with the broader company objectives.

·       Collaborate with the President, North America to develop and execute sales strategy and sales plan.

·       Work with the Director of Clinical Support to meet customer needs.

·       Foster and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring our product meets them.

·       Identify potential new customers and sales opportunities.

·       Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to represent the company and its products.

·       Provide regular sales reports and insights to the VP Commercial and Global CCO and President, North America.

·       Adhere to the letter and spirit of OrganOx’s Code of Conduct and all other company policies

Skills & Experience

·       Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating sales teams.

·       Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Deep understanding of the medical device market, preferably with experience in organ transplantation.

·       Proven ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.

·       A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior.

 

Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

·       Minimum of seven years of current/recent sales experience in the medical device industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

·       Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
